  • The pasta was fresh and quick , the bread they brought out to go with the pasta was hot an delicious, my recommendation for my favorite meal would be the bolognese, it was so tender, and the sauce was perfectly cooked melted in your mouth .. my girl friend got spaghetti and I got the bolognese.. I will definitely be returning back to this restaurant to get another plate and maybe even some to travel with as a carry on to come back with me to Florida

  • I stumbled upon Via Quadronno during a stroll on the Upper East Side and It gives total “hidden Italian gem” vibes—small, charming, authentic, and just a few blocks from Central Park. I went for a late breakfast, and the espresso was chef’s kiss. Their paninis are lowkey iconic—I had the Panino Leonardo (prosciutto, brie, and tomato on crispy Italian bread), and it was perfection. The cappuccino is also super rich and smooth, the way Italians do it. The interior is simple but elegant—think classic European café with wood accents, a long marble bar, and little bistro tables. It’s not the place for a laptop day, but perfect for catching up with a friend or sitting solo with a cappuccino and people-watching. Good to Know: • No reservations, so it gets busy during brunch and lunch hours. • The vibe is romantic and old-school. A nice escape from loud NYC cafés. • Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or a quiet date. • They also have amazing pastries and gelato! Whether you’re in the area or planning a Central Park day, stop by Via Quadronno for a true NYC-meets-Milan moment.

  • We got the risotto, a salad, and chicken with a lemon white wine sauce- incredible. The sauce on the chicken was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the ambiance is so fun. We sat at the entrance by the sidewalk and it was great. When we were leaving, our server gave us a free little cookie of our choice! Great spot and within short walking distance of the MET.

  • great italian comfort food. a very small place with a homey feel to it. the prosciutto was fresh and the meatballs were juicy and tender. we waited almost an hour for our main pasta dishes though. they were great, but i wish we had waited a little less. the bolognese was definitely the best. the arrabbiata was garlicky and tasty but not spicy at all.

  • A perfect cozy quiet place to have a delicious meal. Tried the Seabass, chicken with pomodoro, and mustard shrimps. Peroni, Menabrea Lager, Pilsner Urquel and Amstel light available as beers, and plenty red/white wine options.

  • Via Quadronno is a hidden gem in the heart of the Upper East Side that delivers an authentic slice of Milan right in New York City. From the moment you walk in, the warm, European ambiance sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The staff is attentive and genuinely welcoming, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The food is exceptional—especially the panini, which are perfectly crisped and generously filled with high-quality ingredients. The Prosciutto San Daniele with mozzarella and tomato is a standout, and the cappuccino is rich, smooth, and served with flair. Their pastries and desserts, like the tiramisu and crostata, are indulgent without being overly sweet. Whether you're stopping by for a quick espresso or settling in for a leisurely lunch, Via Quadronno offers a charming escape from the city's hustle. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the cozy atmosphere makes it ideal for both solo visits and intimate gatherings. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian flavors in a relaxed, elegant setting. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

  • Good Italian food. We had the Desiree sandwich with a lemon soda. The sandwich had grilled ham, fontina, and Capers sauce. It was about $16. It was delicious. The portion is just right for a meal. The lemon soda was about $6 and went well with the sandwich. It was ordinary soda. We had black coffee, it was good. Service prompt. The place has preserved its Italian-ness. People love it here and they get many customers l. So the wait time is long. Ours was 30 minutes at around 2 pm.
